About Donegal Connect
Donegal Connect is a collaborative project between the private and public sector in Donegal aimed at boosting visitor numbers and creating new opportunities for our county.
Through the project we want to engage with our Diaspora, both overseas and within Ireland, and anyone considering coming to Ireland. We want to entice them to make the journey to Donegal to explore the county and to find out why it is a wonderful county to visit, to invest in, to live in and be educated in.
Donegal Connect Events
Donegal Connect has something for everyone. We will have world renowned Donegal artists playing at iconic venues throughout the county. Our arts and culture programme includes Donegal plays. We will have a range of business, investment and skills symposia with key speakers. We’ll get you out and about with walks, runs, island visits and a 7 a-side competition. You can get a true ‘taste’ of Donegal with the unique food experiences being specially organised as part of the programme. To explore your heritage, we will have workshops on genealogy. And we will also address and the practical “ins and outs” of returning to Donegal.
